Licensing
Aeasy MCP Server uses CDKey licensing: one key binds one machine, and the term starts at first activation.
Activate
Paste your CDKey on the panel's "License" page → Activate. On success:
- The MCP gateway and public tunnel are ready to start (see Quick Start);
- The card shows your plan, expiry date and days remaining, with a warning as expiry approaches (7 days).
Renew
Before or after expiry, buy a new key and simply type it into the same input box — the renewal flow runs automatically:
- Your license record stays the same; remaining time and the new card's term are stacked;
- Renewing after expiry starts the new term from that moment;
- The new card's tier (standard / mid / premium) sets your feature level after renewal.
No unbind needed, no extra steps.
Moving machines
One key binds one machine at a time. Three scenarios:
| Scenario | What to do |
|---|---|
| New machine, old one still boots | On the old machine's panel click Unbind, then activate on the new machine |
| Old machine lost / OS reinstalled | Open the self-service unbind page (linked directly in the activation error), enter the CDKey to release the old device, then activate on the new machine. Once per 30 days per key |
| Key accidentally activated elsewhere | The panel shows "bound to another device" with a link to the unbind page |
Unbinding preserves the remaining term — it never resets the clock.
Offline grace
Licensing is verified against a locally held signed token, not a live connection:
- The service keeps working with no network; a 72-hour grace window starts when the token expires;
- Refresh happens automatically once the network returns;
- Past the grace window with no reachability, features lock while the panel and re-activation stay available.
Plans and tiers
A key has two dimensions:
- Plan: duration — day / week / month / half-year / year / lifetime;
- Tier: feature level — sets the minimum retained workspace routes on the public tunnel (standard 3, mid 5, premium 10).
Tiers only matter for multi-route public access; purely local use is unaffected.
Key safety
- A CDKey is the product itself — lost keys are not replaceable; store it safely;
- Never share the key with anyone (including anyone claiming to be support);
- If you suspect a leak, contact your purchase channel immediately.
